You keep saying yes when you mean no.

You want to be supportive.
But sometimes support turns into overextending.

You agree in the moment, then feel frustrated later.
You take on what is not yours because pushing back feels harder.
You end the day drained from decisions you barely had time to make.

This Community Coaching Conversation will help you notice the pressure before your boundary slips, so you can respond with more clarity, steadiness, and follow-through.

IS THIS YOU?

This conversation is for educators who want to hold clearer boundaries without second-guessing themselves.

This session is for educators who want to:

* Protect their time and energy without guilt
* Stay supportive without overextending
* Respond clearly when a student, parent, or colleague pushes past a limit

What you’ll take away

A clearer way to recognize what is yours to hold, what is yours to say, and what is not yours to carry.

I'M READY TO FEEL GOOD AGAIN

What is a Community Coaching Conversation?

Community Coaching Conversations are live, group-based coaching sessions designed to replace surface-level advice with real understanding, practical support, and shared language.

This isn’t a lecture.
It isn’t a Q&A free-for-all.
And it isn’t another list of things to try harder at.

It’s a guided conversation led by an experienced coach where educators learn why something isn’t working and how to respond in ways that actually stabilize them.

Dr. Jen Rafferty

Founder and CEO

Jen’s work began with a realization early in her teaching career: while she was well prepared in content, pedagogy, and philosophy, she didn’t yet understand her students as fully as she wanted to. That question—how people actually learn—led her into cognitive neuroscience and ultimately to a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology. Over time, this research shaped a core belief that now anchors her work: the most generous thing educators can do for their students is to take care of themselves. Jen’s career includes published research, national media features, a TEDx talk, an Amazon-bestselling book for music educators, and a globally ranked podcast. Through Empowered Educator®, she brings the latest research in mindset, leadership, and cognitive neuroscience into practical, human-centered programs that help teachers and school leaders find their voice, sustain their energy, and build long, healthy careers in education.
